Project overview

The 1989-93 Ford Capri never came with a cupholder, just a rectangular hole where it looks like one should be. I designed and 3D printed a solution, selling 19 units to other Capri owners.

A rectangular hole in the centre console was a perfect place for a cupholder, but the early Ford Capri models never had one. I 3D printed an insert from ASA plastic. The cupholder can fit two 355ml aluminium cans perfectly.
